Madera Woodworks Co is no longer a working production studio. The original product line was discontinued in 2018. We still answer email on a slow cadence for press, archival and licensing enquiries.
The studio inbox is hello@madera.com.au. Expect a reply within five to ten business days. We read everything but we no longer respond to retail order enquiries because there is no retail line to order from.
What we still answer
- Press, editorial and republication requests for the journal archive.
- Archival photo requests for design history projects.
- Licensing or trademark enquiries relating to the brand name.
- Australian woodworking journalists and educators using the journal as a teaching reference.
What we cannot help with
- Replacement parts, repairs or warranty claims on original Madera products. Production tooling was decommissioned in 2018.
- Bulk reseller, wholesale or dropshipping enquiries.
- Custom commissions or one-off pieces.

Response time
The studio inbox is checked roughly once a week. Press deadlines that need a turnaround inside seventy two hours should be flagged in the subject line so they do not sit unanswered through a quiet week. Licensing and trademark matters tend to need a longer back-and-forth and will run on a slower cadence. If you have written and not heard back inside three weeks, send a follow up. Email occasionally goes missing.
Postal mail
The studio no longer maintains a physical mail address. The Marrickville workshop was vacated in early 2018 and any post sent to the old address is now returned to sender. If you need to send a physical document (a press cutting, a republication contract, a deceased estate enquiry about an old piece), email first and we will arrange a current address for the specific request.
Social media
The original Madera Woodworks Co Instagram and Twitter accounts went dormant in early 2018 and have not been reactivated. Any account using the Madera Woodworks Co name on those platforms in 2026 is not the original brand. Email is the only verified channel.
